  EBL signs MoU with Student Counselling agencies

Dhaka : Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) signed a Memorandum of Understan-ding (MoU) with leading student Coun-selling agencies in the city at function held at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka recently.

Under the MoU, students going abroad for higher study through the agencies will enjoy better and faster banking services including opening of student files, foreign DD/TT, education loan etc.

Mamoon Mahmood Shah, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Consumer Banking, EBL signed the MoU with the heads of the 45 student counselling agencies.
Nazeem Anwar Choudhury, Head of Cards, Mohammed Hossain, Manager, Student Banking, Ms. Sharmin Ahmed, Manager, Ba-nani Branch, Adel Islam, Manager, Dha-nmondi Branch and other high officials of the bank were present on the occasion.

EBL has been maintaining the services since 2006 with five individual student centres at Dhaka, Chitta-gong and Sylhet to ensure dedicated services to the students going abroad for higher study.
