US-Bangla operating three weekly flights to Doha from Sept 9

Dhaka : Largest private carrier of the country US-Bangla Airlines has launched another scheduled weekly flight to Doha from September 9, taking the total number of flights on the route to three per week.

Earlier, the private airline operated two flights a week on Dhaka-Doha route from August 31 while ensuring all the health safety guidelines issued by the governments of Bangladesh and Qatar, said a statement issued on September 9.

On it, Kamrul Islam, General Manager, US-Bangla Airlines, commented, "The airlines will operate three flights from Dhaka to Doha on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from September 9."

Currently, US-Bangla has a total of 13 aircraft including six brand new ATR 72-600s, three Dash 8-Q400s, and four Boeing 737-800s.

In addition, US-Bangla Airlines operates one weekly flight to Guangzhou and two weekly flights to Kuala Lumpur.

The carrier also operates special flights to various destinations globally for the convenience of stranded passengers and cargo transport amid the ongoing pandemic.
