DHL Bangladesh arranges women's network, Fit to Fight programme

Dhaka : DHL Express Bangladesh and DHL Global forwarding Bangla-desh jointly arranged Women's' Network - Fit to Fight programme at Hotel Bengal Blueberry Dhaka on February 10. DHL Women's Network is a communications platform for women to enhance their leadership potential.
It was conducted by sharing information, best practices and story-telling with the aim of positively impacting the success of DHL in relevant country. In Bangladesh, The Network is formed comprising female employees of both DHL Express and DHL Global forwarding.
Women are working independently now-a-days without any time limit or day constrain. In recent days many accidental issues are alarming for women who work outside home.
To protect dignity of women from such situation, DHL Women's Network has planned to have a session on self-defence. Self-defence has become a basic need for every woman now.
With this Fit to Fight program, women can somehow ensure self-safety and security and can empower the way they should be. Country Heads of DHL Express Bangladesh, DHL Global forwarding Bangladesh along with their respective Functional Heads panel were present in the session.
Total fifty eight participants attended the session. Afroza Parveen- Makeover Specialist from Red Beauty Salon, Azrah Mahmood- Model and Ramp Choreographer attended the session as guest speaker to inspire and motivate the women participants. Self-defence training has been conducted by professional Combat Gym instructor, Shamima Akhter Tulee.
