Asahi Eito starts journey in Bangladesh

Dhaka : Asahi Eito, 300 years old Japanese ceramic company started its journey in Bangladesh. The launch of its operations was announced in a ceremony held at Radisson Blu Water Garden Dhaka hotel in the capital recently.

Hiroyasu Izumi, Ambassador of Japan in Bangladesh, attended the opening ceremony as chief guest.

Koji Machimoto, Global President, Asahi Eito; Masahito Shimojo, President, Tsubasa; Md Ashraful Islam, Director and Development Town Planner, RAJUK and S M Owasiul Islam, General Manager - Overseas Division, Tsubasa were also present on the occasion.

Hiroyasu Izumi, Ambassador of Japan in Bangladesh, said, "Japan is the leading investor in Bangladesh as a single country. On that perspective, I welcome Asahi Eito to begin its journey in Bangladesh."

Koji Machimoto, Global President, Asahi Eito, said, "From today, we start our journey in Bangladesh. Hopefully, the customers will like our products which will be available soon."

Masahito Shimizu, President, Tsubasa, said, "We have opened many branches in Bangladesh to reach a wider customer base quickly. We did not just come to this country for the sole purpose of making sales. Our goal is to ensure quality service to the customers of Bangladesh."

The ceremony concluded with splendid Japanese cultural performances.
