Dhaka : The world's oldest men's grooming barbershop Truefitt and Hill has opened an outlet in the capital. The proprietors announced the launch of the shop located at Gulshan Avenue on August 4 at a press conference.
Royal Affairs Limited and Lloyds Luxuries Limited jointly introduced the brand offering personal grooming services in the country for the growing men consumer class.
Mukarram Husain Khan, Chairman of Royal Affairs Limited said that the brand is included in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's oldest grooming barbershop.
Istayak Ansari, Co-founder and Director of Lloyds Luxuries Limited mentioned that a new dimension of male grooming has been emerging in urban habitations of South Asian countries since more than two decades now.

Truefitt and Hill was established in 1805 by William Francis Truefitt in England. Truefitt styled himself as hairdresser to the British Royal Court and the firm received their first Royal Warrant from King George III.
