Dhaka has become paradise on earth for food lovers. Be it continental, oriental or Deshi cuisine - restaurants are strewn all over the city. So are the innumerable cafes and fast food joints - which continue to bring a lot of fun and food for the concerned.
Taj Kitchen is one such place, which opened recently in the capital. It can aptly be described as a multi-faceted restaurant, which has a rooftop restaurant, an all day dining place, a cafe and a business hall - all in one place.
The rooftop restaurant is at the top of a high-rise Taj Square. It is adorned with plenty of greenery and a casual sitting arrangement. The steaming hot grills are prepared right there, so the guests can have a feast with the delicious food while enjoying the lovely surrounding.
Taj Kitchen, the main restaurant is a beautiful place with wall to wall glass windows. It offers an awesome view of the neighbourhood and the city skyline. Their menu has around 150 items to choose from. There are Indian, Mexican, Thai, Chinese and a bit of Italian cuisine too. And of course barbecues and grills are also available. The menu has a huge array of pasta-n-steaks, tandoories-n-grills, soups-n-seafoods, chowmeins-n-chopsueys and many more. There are couple of set meals with different combinations, quite reasonably priced too. One can enjoy the meal with the lovely view of the city which adds an extra charm to the meal.
The Business Center is at Level four, just below the restaurant. Here one can have a business meeting coupled with usual accessories like OHP and buffet tables. The day-long meets can be concluded with meals from Taj Kitchen and the cafe named Taj Coffee and Bakery.
The cafe is located at the basement. They make their own breads and pastries. So having a sip and a bite here can be really fun as one can relish Movenpick ice cream too!
All the three major outlets of Taj Kitchen can accommodate around 70 guests. These are open from 12 at noon to 11 at night. Only the cafe opens early at 10 in the morning and can seat around 30 guests. The cafe is a new addition to the premise that opened only a month ago while the others opened a year back.
