National Hotel and Tourism Training Institute of Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation observe International Chefs’ Day 2018
DHAKA: National Hotel and Tourism Training Institute (NHTTI) of Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (BPC) observed International Chefs’ Day 2018, for the first time in Bangladesh, on October 20.
The theme of this year’s International Chefs’ Day was “Healthy Food, Healthy Generation.”
The day started with the formation of a chefs’ chain in front of NHTTI participated by Professional Chef Course, Diploma in Culinary Arts and Catering Management and NCC Food and Beverage Production Course students of the institute wearing chefs’ outfit and celebrity chefs.
Later, NHTTI students and members of the New Menu Research team presented a variety of dishes at the Chefs’ Room and Training Restaurant.
Held under the supervision of Parvez Ahmed Chowdhury, General Manager and Principal, NHTTI, the observance of the day was coordinated by Zahida Begum, Course Coordinator, Professional Chefs Course of the institute.
