Dhaka: Thailand’s Singha Estate Public Company Limited bagged Best Leisure Development Award for the CROSSROADS, Maldives’ first multi-island integrated leisure and entertainment mega project, at the recently-held Japan International Property Awards (JIPA) 2018.
Maldives’ strategic location on the Maritime Silk Road bringing the East and West inspired the name CROSSROADS. It depicts ‘where cultures meet’ as various cultures have crossed paths here.
Mr. Naris Cheyklin, Chief Executive Officer, Singha Estate Public Company Limited, said, “The CROSSROADS Maldives is Singha Estate’s biggest development by Singha Estate to date. Set to open in 2019 at Emboodhoo Lagoon, the project will be the first integrated lifestyle destination and not-to-be-missed attraction in the Republic of Maldives. Southeast Asia’s best developers and projects were awarded in The Japan International Property Awards (JIPA) organized by Japanese real estate marketplace PropertyAccess.co. This year’s event marked a total of 29 entries from Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Maldives, Indonesia, Cambodia, and the Philippines.

The project consisting of an entertainment island covering 800 meter of space under the name of The Marina @ CROSSROADS and two hotels - Hard Rock Hotel Maldives and SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton aims to cater medium to upscale family, lifestyle seeker and luxury honeymooner.
