Amari Dhaka prepares to celebrate Baiskhakh

Dhaka: Amari Dhaka gears up for a colourful Baishakhi Utshab bringing special offers for the guests from the hotel’s Amaya Food Gallery and Cascade Lobby Lounge. Each of which will feature a unique style of cuisine for celebrating the festive day.

Amaya Food Gallery will offer ‘Baishakhi Brunch’ – an amalgamation of breakfast and lunch items guaranteed to spice things up flaunting a rich Bengali line-up of dishes. The highlight will be the Shorisha Ilish available with an assortment of teasing bhortas like Chingri, Chepa Shutki, Taaki Maach among others.

A variety of local chaat and salads will be available as well. The Baishakhi Brunch will be available on April 13 and 14 at Amaya from 11.30 am to 4pm at BDT3500 net/person. BOGO will be applicable.

The ‘Baishakhi Dinner’ buffet will be the grand arrangement having a huge collection of Bengali New Year specials. Cardinal Baishakhi dishes such as Padma Illish Polao, Deshi Murgi Roast, Masala Pomfret along with others such as Ladka Kichuri, Khaashi Mezban and Doi Begun will be available among a vast selection of Bengali and international items.

‘Baishakhi Dinner’ buffet will feature additional cuisines of Japanese, Chinese and Thai origins. It will be available on April 13 and 14 at Amaya from 6.30 pm to 10.30 pm at BDT 5000 net/person. BOGO for selected cards will be applicable.

The Cascade Lobby Lounge will host a traditional Boishakhi Mela introducing more excitement to the spirit of Baishakh. The fair will include exhilarating activities such as dhakdhol, bioscope show, fortune teller, bangle seller, face painter, mehedi art, and much more customary offerings at the lobby.

A mouth-watering selection of local finger-foods such as fuchka, chotpoti, dahi fuchka, mutton halim, jhalmuri, gulab jamun, Kushtia’s famous kulfi, malai cha among others will also be served. Stalls offering refreshing sorbet and lassi will also be available from 11am till 10pm on April 14.

Extravagant Baishakhi themed décor encircling all the outlets will be another highlight of the occasion.
