Huawei lauds Bangladeshi talents at Seeds for the Future 2019 graduation ceremony

Bangladeshi students and Huawei high officials are seen at the graduation ceremony of Seeds for the Future 2019 at Huawei HQ
Dhaka: Huawei officials highly praised the Bangladeshi ICT talents on the graduation ceremony of its biggest CSR program 'Seeds for the Future 2019' held at Huawei’s headquarters in Shenzhen, China.
Huawei officially recognised top ten ICT talents selected from five renowned universities of Bangladesh. The company said it will give the best effort to work on the ICT talent development of Bangladesh and Digital Bangladesh’s “vision 2021”. Yan Lei, Director – Public Relations of Huawei, ten students from Bangladesh and ten other students from Ethiopia were present on the occasion, among others.
Yan Lei, Director – Public Relations, Huawei, said, “Congratulations to the top talents of Bangladesh. With an increasing number of ICT talents, this country never stops impressing us. They are truly advancing at a lightning fast speed and we hope that their dream of Digital Bangladesh will be fulfilled in no time.”
This year, the students have received wide range of training and technological orientation in China. In Beijing, the students received Comprehensive Chinese language course which included Chinese Calligraphy and Taiji. In Shenzhen, they got an overview of telecommunication network, key technologies in ICT, different generations of mobile communication (from 1G to 5G), Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Cloud Computing, Edge Computing, Internet of Things, 4G and 5G Base station configuration, etc.
The students left for China from Dhaka on April 19, and the next day, they visited and learned about the historical places of China as part of a study tour. Then, Huawei welcomed the students in Beijing with an opening ceremony at Huawei executive briefing center. The Ambassador of Bangladesh Embassy to China participated on the event as the Chief Guest.
In the following two weeks, the students learned about Chinese culture and language in a local university and finally gained practical knowledge in latest technologies at the headquarters of Huawei in Shenzhen, China.

It is a pleasure that we are helping them create a powerful, efficient and enlightened youth-force through our global CSR program, Seeds for the Future,” Yan Lei added.
