MTB receives PCI DSS certificate from SISA Information Security

Dhaka: Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) has received the title of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Version 3.2 Level 1 Service Provider from SISA Information Security at a ceremony held at MTB Tower in the capital.
Anis A. Khan, Managing Director and CEO of MTB received the certificate from Bharat Malik, a representative of SISA Information Security at the certificate handover ceremony.
Syed Rafiqul Haq, Chief Business Officer (CBO), Goutam Prosad Das, Deputy Managing Director, A. K. M. Ahasan Kabir, Group Chief Information Security Officer, Mohammad Anwar Hossain, Head of Cards from MTB and Ashish Chakraborty, Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO), Saud Bin Jahan (Susan), Head of Banking and Financial Services from SSL Wireless were also present on the occasion, among others.
Software Shop Limited (SSL Wireless), an IT security service provider in the country, coordinated the procedural support for the certification process acting as the local partner of SISA.
PCI DSS certificate ensures card security from Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) Company. It is considered as one of the most prestigious certificates for any compliant financial service providers in digital payment system.
Achieving this compliance ensures that the cardholders’ data are highly protected in MTB system. MTB is one of the few banks that have achieved such high standard of security in Bangladesh.
