UMC holds orientation for MBBS 1st batch students

Dhaka: United Medical College organised an induction and orientation programme to welcome the newly enrolled students of MBBS 1st batch on January 9 at United Hospital’s Seminar Hall in the city. This year 50 students have been admitted in the 1st batch of MBBS at United Medical College.

Hasan Mahmood Raja, Chairman of United Group and Governing Body of United Medical College was present on the occasion as the Chief Guest. Moinuddin Hasan Rashid, Managing Director of United Group, Faridur Rahman Khan, Managing Director and Ahmed Ismail Hossain, Vice Chairman of United Hospital Limited also attended the programme as Special Guests. They assured the newly admitted students and their parents of extending their all-out cooperation.

Mohammad Faizur Rahman, Chief Executive Officer of United Hospital Limited delivered the welcome speech to the students. The new students and their parents also expressed their remarks.

Dr Md Abdul Wakil, Principal of United Medical College highlighted the academic rules of the Medical College and delivered the concluding remarks at the programme.
