Mohammed El-Moselhy, Director of Food and Beverage, Four Points by Sheraton Dhaka
Dhaka: Four Points by Sheraton Dhaka has promoted Mohammad Fawaad to Director of Operations and appointed Mohammed El-Moselhy as Director of Food and Beverage in February.
Fawaad has more than 15 years of work experience in the hospitality industry. He has great expertise in Sales and Marketing, Maximising Revenue, Revenue Analysis, Negotiation, Cost Control and Pricing Strategy Development. In absence of the General Manager, Fawaad successfully ran the hotel’s day to day operations as the Acting General Manager for six months from July to December in 2017.
He started his journey in the hospitality industry as a sales executive at Hotel Sarina and later served as Sr Executive Sales, Assistant Sales Manager and Assistant Director of Sales at Radisson Blu Dhaka.
Fawaad achieved the Best Manager of the Year accolade in 2010, 2011 and 2013 for his managerial and revenue management performance at Radisson Blu Dhaka. His last position held was Director of Sales at Four Points by Sheraton Dhaka.
On the other hand, Mohammed El-Moselhy has been transferred from Westin Cairo to Four Points by Sheraton Dhaka to join the hotel as Director of Food and Beverage on February 10 having a vast experience of 23 years in the sector working with Marriott as well as other city business hotels.
He served as Cluster Director of F&B at Courtyard by Marriott in Kuwait, Director of Operations at Grand Park Hotel Jeddah and Regional Director of F&B at Concorde Hotels Kuwait. During his tenure, these hotels won several awards including the ‘Food and Beverage Excellence Award’ in 2016 from Marriott International.
El-Moselhy holds a Bachelor’s degree from Oxford International in Hospitality Management and Master’s degree in Food Service Management from Cornell University.
