Dhaka: Kuwait suspended on March 7 all flights to and from Bangladesh and six other countries over coronavirus concerns. The six other countries are Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Philippines, India and Sri-Lanka.
The State of Kuwait has cancelled flights to and from the aforementioned countries for a week starting on March 7, Civil Aviation Directorate of Kuwait said in a statement.
Kuwait also banned entry of anyone without a PCR Certificate confirming “virus-free” who has been in the seven countries in the last two weeks.
Kuwaitis coming from the seven countries are exempted from this; they will be allowed entry but will have to submit to quarantine procedures, the Civil Aviation Directorate added.
