Dhaka: The government of Bangladesh has extended the suspension of all commercial schedule domestic passenger flight to April 14 at 23:59 BST, the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh said in a circular today.
The extension of suspension follows the government's move to prevent further spread of the novel coronavirus.
In further efforts, Bangladesh has also suspended international flights to and from the country till April 14, mentioned CAAB.
One more coronavirus patient has died in the last 24 hours in the country, taking the total number of deaths to nine, Health Minister Zahid Maleque said at a press briefing today.
Eighteen more people have tested positive for coronavirus during this period, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 88 while three patients have recovered, he added.
Till now, 33 people who were earlier infected with COVID-19 have recovered.
