Dhaka: The government of Bangladesh has extended the suspension of both international and domestic shedule passenger flights to and from the country till April 30.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh made the announcement in a statement today.
In terms of international passenger flight operations, the suspension applies to flights to and from 16 countries: Bahrain, Bhutan, Hong Kong, India, Kuwait, Malaysia, Maldives, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, UAE and UK.
However, cargo and relief transport, air ambulance, emergency departure and special flights will be operational in the meantime.
