US-Bangla Group distributes Eid gifts among 5000 families in Rupganj

Tanzir Rahman Tanvir, General Manager of US-Bangla Assets, on behalf of the group, handing over Eid gifts to poor people in Rupganj financially affected by the coronavirus lockdown
Dhaka: US-Bangla Group distributed Eid gifts among 5000 poor families in Rupganj Upazila of Narayanganj on May 23 during this economic crisis as the country is in nationwide lockdown to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
The group distributed the gifts among families in Charpara, Digulia, Kaladi, Khalpar, Kenduya, Taroil and other wards and neighbouring villages of Kanchon Municipality.
The gifts include 10 kg rice, dal, semai, sugar and other foodstuffs.
On behalf of the group, Tanzir Rahman Tanvir, General Manager of US-Bangla Assets distributed the gifts among the poor people.
Rafiqul Islam, Mayor of Kanchon Municipality and commissioners of several wards were also present while the group distributed gifts in different areas of the municipality.
Students of Green University Bangladesh and US-Bangla Medical College lent their support in the distribution of the gifts among poor people who have become jobless due to the lockdown imposed following the coronavirus pandemic.
