Dhaka: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) hinted that it may suspend its Mumbai-Karachi flight with effect from May 11, against the back drop of the growing tensions between India and Pakistan. Sources, however, did not rule out that it may be a commercial reason as well. The national flag carrier of Pakistan operates once a week flight on Thursdays.
“PIA, in a communication, has said that its Karachi-Mumbai flight will not be open for sale (bookings) from May 11,” a sources said.
