Shahjalal Islami Bank holds its Half-Yearly Business Conference-2020

Dhaka: Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) organised its “Half-Yearly Business Conference-2020” on July 25 digitally through an online video conference.

The inaugural ceremony of the conference was presided over by M Shahidul Islam, Managing Director and CEO of the bank while Md Sanaullah Shahid, Chairman of the Board of Directors, was present as the Chief Guest.

Directors Dr Anwer Hossain Khan, Akkas Uddin Mollah, Engr Md Towhidur Rahman, A K Azad, Mohammed Younus, Independent Directors K A M Majedur Rahman, Additional Managing Directors Abdul Aziz and S M Mainuddin Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Directors Md Shahjahan Shiraj, M Akhter Hossain, Mian Quamrul Hasan Chowdhury, Imtiaz U Ahmed and Nasim Sekander were also present on the occasion along with Executives from Corporate Head Office, Heads of different divisions and 132 Branch Managers.

Md Shamsuddoha Shimu, Head of Public Relations Division of the Bank moderated the programme.

The meeting saw speakers discussing the prevailing situation and planning the roadmap for the future to overcome the adverse impact of COVID-19.

They also discussed the business performance of the last six months of the current year and urged to take necessary strategy and action plan to achieve the business target for the remaining time of the year.
