Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia Airlines (MAS) has invested in a new passenger reservations system and will upgrade systems during the weekend of June 10. This new technology will enable the airline to meet passengers’ changing travel needs.
Passengers will be unable to make new bookings or make changes to existing bookings for nine hours from 2100hrs on June 10 to 0600hrs on June 11 (Malaysian Standard Time (GMT+8)).
Mobile and online check-in will be unavailable during the same period.
Passengers travelling from June 12 onwards will receive a six-digit Passenger Name Record (PNR).
Flight schedules will not be affected by the transition.
