Biman’s Saidpur flight escape major accident
A Monitor Report 25 Oct, 2017 | 1844 Views | - + Dhaka: A Dash-8 Q 400 aircraft of Biman Bangladesh Airlines on a flight from Saidpur made emergency landing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Wednesday, October 25 morning,
The flight BG-494 took off at about 9:30 am from Saidpur Airport with 66 passengers on board. After the takeoff, security personnel at the airport, noticed that part of a wheel, lying on the runways. They immediately informed the control tower about their finding.
Following the incident, HSIA authority closed the airport for all flights between 9:00 am and 11:00 am. The ill-fated aircraft made safe emergency landing at HSIA at 10:45 AM.
