Three flights divert as bad weather disrupts operations at Chattogram Airport

Dhaka: Adverse weather at Chattogram's Shah Amanat International Airport disrupted flight operations on July 7, diverting two international and one domestic flight to Dhaka.
According to airport authorities, US-Bangla Airlines Flight BS350 from Abu Dhabi was the first among the flights. It was unable to land due to poor weather conditions and diverted to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.
Later, Air Arabia flight G9526 from Sharjah also diverted to Dhaka for the same reason.
Meanwhile, Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight BG121, which had departed from Dhaka for Chattogram, was forced to turn back and return to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport after failing to land at Shah Amanat International Airport because of the adverse weather.
Airport officials said the disruptions were caused by unfavorable weather conditions in Chattogram.
