SalamAir posts improved on-time performance in Q2 2026

Between April and June,
SalamAir operated 5,723 flights and carried 634,415 passengers across its
domestic and international destinations. OTP, an internationally recognized
aviation performance indicator, measures the percentage of flights departing
within 15 minutes of their scheduled departure time.
On the development, SalamAir
Chief Executive Officer Adrian Hamilton-Manns said, the improved punctuality
was achieved despite operational challenges caused by regional geopolitical
developments that affected airspace availability and flight operations. He
attributed the results to the efforts of the airline's operational teams and
reaffirmed the carrier's focus on providing reliable and affordable air travel.
During the quarter,
SalamAir inducted its 16th and 17th Airbus A320 aircraft,
launched direct flights to Vienna, resumed services to Almaty and completed
preparations for the start of flights to Medan. The airline is also scheduled
to receive its 18th aircraft in mid-July.
SalamAir said, it will
continue investing in its fleet, technology, and operational capabilities to
enhance service reliability while supporting Oman's Vision 2040.
